Link builder

Clean links, every time.

Typos and mixed casing split your reports. UTM Link applies your team’s presets as you type, so every campaign lands in one tidy row.

  • Presets fill source, medium, and campaign
  • Rules mark parameters required, hidden, or prohibited
  • Short link and QR code from the same form

How a UTM link works

Five fields, one clean link.

A UTM link is your normal URL plus up to five tags. Google Analytics reads them to tell you which campaign sent each visit. The values are case sensitive, so Email and email count as two different mediums.

How it works

From URL to report in three steps.

Set it up once. After that, every link your team creates follows the same rules.

  1. 01

    Set your conventions

Create presets and naming rules once for each team or project.

  2. 02

    Build links in seconds

Pick a preset, paste a URL, and get a clean tracked link, short link, or QR code.

  3. 03

    See what drives clicks

Follow clicks by country, device, and browser, then export the results.

Why switch

Retire the UTM spreadsheet.

Spreadsheets break when more than one person builds links. UTM Link keeps one source of truth for the whole team.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can’t find what you need? Read the docs or contact the team.

Is there a free plan?

+

Yes. The Basic plan is free and includes 100 UTM links, UTM parameter templates and up to two team members. No card is needed to start.

What is a UTM link?

+

A normal URL with tracking parameters added, such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign. Analytics tools read them to tell which campaign sent each visit.

Are UTM parameters case sensitive?

+

Yes. Google Analytics reports utm_source=Google and utm_source=google as two different sources. UTM Link can lowercase every value as you type, so your team can't split a campaign by accident.

Does UTM Link work with Google Analytics 4?

+

Yes. The links use the standard UTM parameters, so GA4 picks them up with no setup and shows them in the Traffic acquisition report as session source, medium and campaign.

Can I shorten a UTM link?

+

Yes. Pick a domain when you build the link and you get a short link that redirects to the full UTM URL and counts each click. Paid plans let you use your own domain, such as go.yourbrand.com.

Do UTM parameters affect SEO?

+

Not when you use them on links from other places, like emails, ads and social posts. Keep a canonical tag on your pages pointing to the clean URL, and don't add UTMs to your own internal links: they restart the visit with a new source in analytics.

Can I create UTM links in bulk?

+

Yes. Paste several URLs into the builder to tag them all with the same parameters, or import links from a CSV file. You can export links and click data whenever you need them.

Can I use my own domain?

+

Yes. Paid plans include custom domains. Add a CNAME record at your DNS provider and UTM Link verifies it for you.

Does it replace Google Analytics?

+

No. UTM Link builds and organizes the links your analytics tool reads, and adds its own click analytics for short links.
